Wrapping Up the Year

Hi Everyone!

Both this semester and the year 2018 are coming to an end. Now is a great time to pause and reflect! Sure, it may seem like you don’t have an extra 10-20min to spare when there are projects due and finals to study for, BUT I would argue now is the perfect time to do just that!

Here are my top two tips for the month of December!

  1. Get Planning

Looking back on the past year, or even the past few weeks or days, is a powerful tool; this is a great way to see where you may have made mistakes, plan ahead, and acknowledge where you grew. Try journaling a Year in Review – you might find it to be an eye opening experience! You can plan goals for yourself, start a list of all the things you’re looking forward to in the year ahead, or you could plan the pages and spreads you’d like to see in next year’s bullet journal. Planning is a great way to ground yourself and help cope with some of the chaos this time of the year brings!

  1. Try Something New

Maybe your current system for bullet journaling isn’t really working for you. Even though bullet journal is meant to be used with a pen and paper, nothing is stopping you from getting creative and using a different medium – perhaps you try a digital planner, or use a whiteboard like Corrine Soave. Anytime is a good time to hit the “reset” button, so why not now?!

Track the Past

Order the Present

Design the Future

Happy journaling, folx!
